Auditions for Sinister Soirée: A Villainous Cabaret will be on Friday June 26 at 6pm or Saturday June 27 at 9am. A single performance will be on August 22. PLEASE NOTE: Auditions for ALL female (soprano/alto) roles are open ONLY to current Act Out participants and alumni while ALL male (tenor/bariton/bass) roles are open to any male regardless of past participation. Rehearsals will be held Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 6PM-8PM from July 7–August 19. Audition and rehearsal location will be at 3299 Walnut Ave. Signal Hill, CA 90755.

AUDITION INSTRUCTIONS (please follow carefully)

1. You will be auditioning using ONE of the songs of your choice from the list below. We will then cast you for the solos and ensembles we feel are the best fit. You will only be allowed to perform one song one time only so it's important to come prepared and well-rehearsed using the materials provided. When you arrive at auditions and fill out your audition form, you will indicate from the list above which song(s) and solo(s) you wish to perform at the event. 

2. Each song in the list below is linked to a YouYube video that you can use as reference for practice and lyrics. The buttons below link to the actual excerpt of music that will be used in auditions. 

3. We will use your audition along with your indications from the song list to assign your final part. 

4. Please note, there are limited solos available. All performers selected will be performing in various ensembles but not all performers will end up being chosen as soloists.
