Audition Information
Auditions for The Lion King Kids will be on Friday September 18 at 6pm or Saturday September 19 at 12pm. Performances will be on November 20, 21 and 22. Rehearsals will be held Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 5PM-8PM from September 22–November 11. Audition and rehearsal location will be at 3299 Walnut Ave. Signal Hill, CA 90755.
AUDITION INSTRUCTIONS (please follow carefully)
1. You will be auditioning using ONE of the songs of your choice from the list below. We will then cast you for the roles and/or ensemble we feel are the best fit. You will only be allowed to perform one song one time only so it's important to come prepared and well-rehearsed using the materials provided.
2. Each song in the list below is linked to a practice track which includes the vocals so you can learn the words and practice as well as an audition track which will be what you use in the audition. Be sure to practice with the audition track once you've learned the vocals.
3. You will also perform a short reading from the script and learn a brief segment of choreography during the audition. Please come dressed appropriately for dancing.
